Modulating the structure of hydrogels to control therapeutic release

Controlled release of therapeutics is an important strategy to treat diseases. This project will help students understand the basic concept of structure-property relationships in materials and how to control therapeutic release by adjusting the structure of hydrogel materials that encapsulate therapeutics inside.
