Brooke Barney

BioChemical Implementation & Reality Simulation

My name is Brooke Barney and I am a 5-year, 3 co-op freshman working towards my B.S. and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University. I plan on having a concentration in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering and hope to work for Johnson and Johnson in the future. I am a part of the Society of Women Engineers(SWE) and am a member of an Engineering Learning Community based on civic engagement at Drexel University. I was born and raised in South Jersey so I enjoy spending time at the beach. In my free time, I also compete in powerlifting. This Engineering Design Project relates to my major and will give me experience that will help with future careers.

Oluwadamilola (Dami) Bolarin

Polymer Chemistry & Laboratory Practices

Hi! I'm Oluwadamilola Bolarin (Dami for short), a class of 2021 Chemical Engineering major and Materials Engineering minor at Drexel University. I work as an undergraduate researcher in the Palmese Research Group to investigate the turgidity in polymers and the implementation of polymers in ballistic materials. I play soccer and watch movies for fun and I'm a huge rice enthusiast.

Hey, my name is Sam. I am currently a Mechanical Engineering student at Drexel University. I will be graduating in 2021. I want to create affordable and advanced robotic prosthetics. My favorite hobbies are programming and playing basketball.

Vriti Khurana

Materials Acquisition & Blog Management

My name Vriti and I am currently a first year student in the Materials Science and Engineering Department. I am currently transitioning into the custom designed major program where I am focusing on nanotechnology, social entrepreneurship, and biology. Outside of academia, I am involved in the Honors Action League where I serve as the Director of Philanthropy. In my free time, I love to dance with my dance team and pursue my interests in photography.

Elizabeth Moroz

Project Management & Logistics

Hi, my name is Elizabeth but everyone calls me "Liz." I am a Materials Science and Engineering student graduating in 2021 and a current member of the ExCITe ELC. This summer I will be working as a STAR Scholar in the Shima Seiki Haute Technology Laboratory, which coincides with my passion for art and engineering. Additionally, I love to read and swim in my free time.
